A new age for aged care: Why coming together as a united sector is more important now than ever
The 2022 Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) National Elevation will be held as an online event from 17-21 May. ACSA's flagship internal forum, the Summit is an important result for the aged care sector and wish be the first chance for the sector to close following the Governing's response to the Royal Commission and the Union soldier Budget.
The LIVE Summit program will highlight about of the fundamental changes that need to occur to improve the care of aged Australians, including board session discussions on Workforce, Weak Rights, Ageism and Housing in the new years for aged care.
The findings of the Royal Commission have highlighted the need for exchange, particularly in the aged care workforce, identifying the critical need for ripe care workers to be well trained, well paid and betrothed to their jobs.
To boot to the in-profundity panel sessions, the ACSA Summit will also characteristic keynote presentations from:
- Sam Mostyn, who will share with delegates her experience on leading and governance;
- Dr Lav Hewson, who will speak on funding issues that touch to the aged care sector;
- Lynelle Briggs AO, former Aged Caution Royal Commissioner WHO will share her perspectives connected the Government's response to the Royal Commission; and
- Kurt Fearnley AO, who will provide delegates with a presentation on inclusive, culturally safe and caliber aged care.
